Emotional Regulation For Young Children – Morning Tea Series for Parents
This wonderful topic was the subject of one of our Morning Tea Series for Parents and hosted as a webinar, which is why we have a recording of it right here for your listening pleasure!
This is a brilliant webinar to watch if you’re a parent with children aged 3 to 8. It is presented by Alyce Codrington, Boutique Education’s Head Educator at the time, and covers the concept of emotional regulation and understanding the “The Zones” of regulation, based on the Social Thinking framework developed by Leah Kuypers and Michelle Garcia Winner.
Through this webinar recording you will learn to:
– assist your child to become aware of their emotional state and understand that all emotions are ok
– help your child move through their emotional state and made good decisions
– introduce the “The Zones” in the home environment
– have conversations about emotional regulation.
